Part of the park (before the Nysa Szalona River) was created in 1844 on a former rifle range of a rifle club (till 1945 called the Shooting Cluster). A merchant Brunon Fuchs created the part behind the river in 1911. Then a tennis court, the playground and the pergola on the hill were built. Nearby there is an outdoor swimming pool with diving jumps, a motel with 23 beds and a stadium.
